Does this statement make your hair stand on end? Unfortunately, the “nothing to hide” argument has persisted for far too long and often prevents any constructive discussion about privacy protection on the Internet. It’s high time to debunk it.

@threemaapp Pushing the "right to be forgotten" like that is dishonest: it has nothing to do with protecting your privacy from mass surveillance, but instead demands everyone else to erase some of their their data and silence opinions. I rely on reputation when dealing with other people, and wouldn't want assholes using state violence to clean their name.
