BleepingComputerGoogle announced today that the Chrome web browser will start warning users by default before connecting to insecure HTTP public websites beginning with Chrome 154 in October 2026.

Have I been away from chromium based browsers for so long that I had made the wrong assumption they already did that? lol. Firefox has had this feature for who knows how long, so I thought it was everywhere by this point
