I will not vote for Newsom under any circumstance.

And I’m letting you all know this *three years in advance* so that you have time to find some other dipshit.

Because if, in three years, you attempt to put me in another hostage situation where it’s Newsom versus some other fascist— and I don’t care WHO it is— I need you to understand that I will leave the ballot blank and *move* before I vote for him.

That’s my boundary. You have plenty of time to course correct.

@Haste Are you new at this Democracy thing? It's not a spectator sport. And threatening to forgo your vote and *move* is threatening fascism with a good time.

Tell you what. How about YOU spend the next 3 years finding your perfect candidate and convincing a majority of US to choose them?

@michaelvcooper1 I don’t know why you think I’m not participating. My body of work is public and free. Further, I exist outside of the internet. A bunch of weirdos are descending on a single thread as the sum total of my contribution to democracy and it’s frankly silly?

I don’t remember signing anything that requires me to attach my resume to every tweet.

It seems clear you’d like to argue with a fictional character you’ve invented, who posts once and then gives up. I hope you find them.

@Haste You're not required to post your resume. By the same token, I'm not required to vet your "whole body of work", public and free though it may be, before responding. If you are an active citizen good for you; at least until the rest of us let you down and you stop voting and move (where??).

We rarely see an ideal candidate, and the further your politics lay from the mainstream the less likely you ever will. But in failing to support the best of two candidates you empower the worst.
