ANOTHER DAY OF BEING PRODUCTIVE!¹

• got up!
• got clean!
• got out of the house!
• got inoculated against CoVid and ‘Flu!!

¹ because I expect to be an inanimate object tomorrow because of the inoculation

MORE THINGS DONE!

• walked up a hill!
• got inoculated!
• tried to drop off a package but went to the wrong company!
• had a donut and latté!
• read some of my book!
• mailed(!) a letter(!)!
• bought a few groceries!
• spoke to another tenant who’s awesome!

A couple of things did not get done, one of which is the package not being sent. The other is getting my Too Big Bike to Community Bikes for donation to someone who needs a Big Enough Bike.

Both of those things can happen later this week, after The Vaccine Caused Exhaustion.

@IanAMartin I think you're doing the right thing: if you keep referring to post-vaccine suffering it may not happen, making you look really silly
@giflian I do not suffer after Covid vaccine, I merely cannot do anything due to having no energy. Laying down and sleeping a great deal is my default setting; as a result, the doing of being mandatory is not a dramatic alteration.
@giflian Even for me, the second half of the last sentence is beyond tortured grammatically. The most frustrating aspect is that it’s entirely correct according to writing structures.

@IanAMartin the vaccine has already gotten to your brain!

I hope it’s not too bad, then. My default is tired already, so I’m not sure if I noticed a difference; this time the vaccines mostly gave me sore arms. Everyone gets their own special set of side effects.

@giflian The very first dose I got left me with all of the side effects except vomiting and diarrhea (which are the ones to skip, if you can). Since then it’s merely been to put me to bed for 36 hours with no option for anything else being considered until completed.

About two years or 18 months ago, I thought ‘huh, seems okay, maybe a little tired’ then about 45 minutes later I realized that I was not vertical much longer. I went to my manager, told them I was going home. Once out of the building I thought ‘maybe all I needed was sunshine and fresh air’ but went home and decided ‘actually, let’s have a na… 💤’ and was out like a light for five hours.

So, I expect the same to happen in about twelve hours or thereabouts.

But… maybe not.

Taken with the ’flu shot, however, I’m prepared for being good for nought until Friday; just in case.
