Built a fully native, SwiftUI app for tracking our son’s naps and distributed it via TestFlight to my wife, over a few hours all from my phone(!!!) using @BitRigApp.

It’s obviously not the best app in the world, but it’s fun and uses some iOS 26 APIs + modern components:

• 100% SwiftUI, no dependencies
• Inline large toolbar titles
• Persistent interactive Liquid Glass sheet
• Per-nap SF Symbols for morning, afternoon, and evening
• Live UI powered by Timer

Continued…

• ShareLink to easily message start/end of nap
• 500 kB app bundle size
• A proper Liquid Glass app icon

Enhancements I’d like to make:

• AppIntents to send a message automatically when naps start and end
• ActivityKit for live activities
• CloudKit for sync and collaboration
• Refinements and general polish

The fact that I can do this from my phone is pretty freaking sweet.

@jordanborth @BitRigApp I have a week for the baby to come I might try this 😂
