@mijomir The mannequin in feminine styling, with her face covered, seems to be not just part of the display but the target, maybe even the victim, of that “guide.”
It hit me… this is our world in a nutshell. A sick one, where a woman’s supposed to fit into a pre-set role. So anything that doesn’t fit gets “amputated.”

Thank you! I was walking by a store and glanced at the mannequin; I was struck by its quiet despair and existential fatigue and took the picture.
The text was originally a response to a popular infographic which resurfaces once in a blue moon on social media, "The Gentleman's Guide to Amputation"; at the time I was thinking about women in Victorian era, but sadly there's never a shortage of Procrustean beds.
