OG_zuulpropaganda works. since Ronald Reagan the media has been pushing this idea that the only ppl "on welfare" are black ppl who drive brand new Cadillac's to the grocery store and eat lobster and steak every night. they are the same ppl who think that only black ppl commit crime. so they have no issue with snap benefits going away because "those ppl need to get jobs"
so even poor white ppl who rely on those benefits don't believe their aid will get cut off because they are white and don't get "welfare" like black ppl
the whole thing is really a master class in the effectiveness of staying on message for 40 years and now here we are.
