I have a message for you which is: please take more photos of/with your friends. Every time you meet up just take a lil selfie. I know it is cringe but trust me on this one.
@nimirea
I agree with you, but building this habit is proving to be difficult for me. I even started hosting Immich, a photo organization and backup service, at my home thinking that if I had a personal and private cloud for my photos, I would be more comfortable taking photos of my family, and friends. But it turns out, I take more photos of QR codes and posters than living things.

I would like to take more photos, but how do you suggest we can get comfortable taking photos in public in the first please?
@murteza Can definitely relate, this is in response to me looking through my camera roll and realizing that I take so many photos… just not with my friends. What about just being like, “Hey, do you want to take a photo together?” when you spot something that encapsulates your meetup: a sign, a landscape, food/drink, whatever. I’ve never been turned down on this. Even if I was, the reward outweighs the risk!
@nimirea
I have no idea why, but I never thought of taking photos
about something over of something. My brain works in interesting ways, until it just stops working all together. Thanks for bringing this perspective up.
