Honduran man fatally struck on highway while fleeing immigration agents in Virginia

A 24-year-old man fleeing federal immigration agents trying to detain him in Virginia has been fatally struck by a vehicle. Josué Castro Rivera was a Honduran national. His death follows recent incidents in which immigrants in Chicago and California were killed during operations under the Trump administration's crackdown. Castro Rivera was headed to a gardening job on Thursday when his vehicle was pulled over by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers. Authorities say he fled on foot and tried to cross a busy highway.
