11/22/63 - Stephen King

I’m not a fan of horror - but I’ve found Stephen King’s non-horror books to be really good!

For me, JFK was a subplot. The real story was in the main characters and the (intoxicating) idea of living life with some secret knowledge of the future, as well as the intoxicating idea of existing for one sole purpose. Great read.

@dingus Great book, and one of the few he's written that has a satisfying ending. Because his son wrote the ending. (That's the story I heard, anyway)

@dingus I love how King does a self-own during his cameo in IT2 the movie. He plays a bookstore owner, and one of the kids has grown up to be an author. King's character tells him his endings suck.
