I had a brain idea so I made a picture of it. #pride

@stylus Yes, good.

We queers steal all the straights' colors.

@GreenSkyOverMe @stylus Not true, you bring the colors back in a world that would be grey and boring!
@stylus awesome, I love it❤️
@stylus i'm so proud, people keep hiding behind 5 meter thick lead walls and wearing gas masks :(
@stylus Absolutely great stuff thank you!

@stylus

> Infra pride

So... Interstate flags, or AWS flags?

@PaintedDurian @stylus AWS is nothing to be proud of. I think it's those people who are really into trains?
@philip @PaintedDurian you've now thought about it more deeply than I did.
@philip
@stylus
Yeah that's basically the straight flag (turns into the straight ally flag in June)
@stylus Wouldn't Infra Pride be straight?
I'm Infra Pride. Now I feel like all the cool Bi people because I have a cool label.
@stylus not me burning myself with ultrapride radiation
@lety
All bodies radiate pride, but unless they're very hot, they mostly radiate only in the deep infra-pride.
@stylus
@stylus Needs to be horizontally flipped. Otherwise the ranges would make sense only if on a negative X axis. Infra (=below) is closer to 0 than Ultra (=beyond)

@stylus usually the rainbow is with red on the left and purple on the right as the usual representation is going up in frequency/energy and not wavelength.

The scientist in me had to say it 🙏

@CCochard I wish I'd done that on purpose, but instead it was because I didn't even check what convention was. so, ya got me.
@stylus @CCochard
You could interpret it as 'x = level of straightness' and 0 is on the right side. 🤔
@stylus @gotink clever! Everyone pointing out this spectrum needs to be flipped needs to take a good hard look in the mirror
@ollicle @gotink I'm not losing any sleep over it.
@stylus alternate reality where queer people can see ultraviolet and pride flags are invisibly spraypainted everywhere to hide them from the eyes of The Authorities
@stylus Mantis shrimp knows 🦐
@stylus Very silly and I’m totally here for that!!
@stylus and past ultra pride lays ionizing pride
@stylus why are we sorting by wavelength instead of by frequency/energy
@stylus I would buy this t-shirt
