@Kingu I would have called MetalCore which is both metal and punk.

Well simple says "Eat to the Beat" is new wave.
Which means we fall back to "Plastic Letters."

Yes its punker. They were still a punk band then. But you can hear what would become New Wave in it.
I haven't listened to Plastic Letters in a long time.
Paralle Lines & Eat to the Beat were their best. Though my fav. is "Maria" which is MUCH later.
