After judgment and devastation, God will restore the fortunes of Israel, and they will dwell in their land in prosperity. 

After those times, God will pour out His Spirit on His people, mighty and lowly. 

Portentous events would take place when that Day of YHWH would come, and all who would call on YHWH would be saved. 

God would restore His people to their place.

Peter declared that what Joel had prophesied in the time to come took place on Pentecost (Acts 2:16-21). 

Those baptized into Christ have been baptized in the Spirit into the one body.  All of God's people share in His Spirit as a down payment of the salvation to come on the final day.
