so the new thing in #MAGA land is to claim that all videos of the #NoKings protests were fake because they were actually taken in 2017 at the women's march.

what "proves" the theory is the fact that the trees in this past weekend's videos are too green, whereas the trees at the women's march, which took place in the dead of winter in january 2017 were... well, let's just say it's not the best theory.

but they all believe it now. literally every MAGA #chudfluencer all the way on up to editorial writers at "legitimate" outlets like the #NYPost is parroting this talking point. #Grok, to which they have outsourced all critical thinking, has even confirmed it for them.

@cryptadamist many protest signs in S.F. had the year and date on them. I guess the goal was so they couldn’t be discredited as being from some other event, but that doesn’t really help with these far away crowd shots.

@docpop if they're all willing to chime in in unison and claim that trees in boston in late jan/feb are green with full foliage i'm not sure a few more visible signs are going to change their minds
