HELP! I need a new #printer.
IMO I have basic #homeoffice needs, but it seems impossible to find anything reasonable:
1) duplex ADF (because when was the last time you had a recto-only document...)
2) scan to network share
3) duplex print
4) colour print
5) #Linux compatible
(Those 5 points are absolute necessities.)

Previously I was very happy with HP (yeah, I know...), but they're now pricing a set of cartridges at 190€. And 3rd party ink is (again) a failure (possibly ruining the printhead).

@hambier I'm using a Canon GX-7050. Since it's an ink-based device, it's probably not the best choice if you are not using it for longer periods. As others have noticed here, it's indeed also cleaning the heads (and filling up the maintenance cartridge with ink) when only used as a scanner. Please note that for setting up the network share config you have to use a Windows application (may work with Wine, haven't tried it). Otherwise I'm happy with it.
