@signalapp I was expecting to see some post either on your Fediverse account or your website blog, but their latest posts are from 18 days ago! This doesn't look good tbh. You really need to drastically improve your communication with users and donors.

@Yuvalne Automated status check is always good (and should often get expanded to capture various types of failure), but posting one sentence and later a follow-up blog post about the issue would indicate transparency, and would guide users on what they should do about their communications in the meantime. Thankfully @Mer__edith kindly took the initiative and posted about the issue on her Fediverse account:

It's posted on @aboutsignal - which points out that it isn't the official signal account. That could be worked on, for communicating future outages and issues.
