I don't think most people understand that the conservative attack on trans people is a bid to control everyone.

What they are asking for is:
- government access to your private personal medical records in perpetuity
- to give up your right to bodily autonomy, to no longer be allowed to do what you want with your own body
- allowing the government to define whether you have rights based solely on religious doctrine

That should scare the piss out of literally every single person. What they do to us, they will do to you.

@Lana Dunno why it's so hard for people to learn that what fash will do to some marginalized group is what they want to & will do to everyone eventually. Even if just out of self-preservation* nobody should fall for this anymore.

@Lana I'm serious. They are trying to use gulls as a wedge issue against the current leftwing government.
Important to note that Scotland is basically 3 long coastlines, so lots of gulls.
Selfish and non-thinking people hate seagulls because they:
1) squawk
2) poop on cars
3) get angry if you come near their fledgelings
4) might steal your lunch when you're not looking
Gulls are currently on the endangered birds list, so you can get a huge fine if you harm them, their nests, or their eggs.

@Lana A government minister got so frustrated with the nonsense that he used "language" towards one of the instigators and had to resign.
Doing that, however, completely deflated the seagull-haters, as it made them look utterly ridiculous.

"You can't wear a dress, you're a man" will be followed immediately by "women can't wear trousers" and then by "women can't hold jobs" and then "women can't drive".
