@mikebrogan (I wandered down to the Apple Store to see if I could repro on their display iPad Pros and… nope, I couldn’t. I really don’t have a clue what’s different about my setup… *something* is!)

@mikebrogan I might. Sorta want to avoid extra variables until I pin it down. Super mysterious.
@mikebrogan I *think* I might have it. Force quit safari, then open settings and change multitasking to “full screen”. Then start safari, visit apple.com, go to the mail app and go back. That seems to do it; when multitasking is in windowed mode, I don’t get a repro.
@davepeck interesting! I can’t reproduce whether in full screen or windowed. Maybe specific to 11” model.

(But seriously, thanks for trying. Getting a precise repro case for this kind of stuff is hard — just because I can trivially cause it to happen on my iPad doesn’t mean anyone else can!)
@mikebrogan I went back to the Apple Store and can reproduce it on their iPad Pro 11” display models! Gonna file a bug.
