The tech future we got: if you don't use a phone running one of two corporately-controlled OSes then you're functionally banned from using banking services, getting hired, or just existing in society

@ozzelot @sushimcpe or that, but honestly the main reason to not own a phone today is to get away from how utterly bullshit Android, iOS, and KaiOS phones are (tho maybe that's just me since I quite enjoy being able to listen to music and message my friends while on the go)

@Reiddragon @sushimcpe I listen to music using an MP3 player (currently Sansa Clip Zip), but yeah, the messaging your friends part is where it gets tough.
