If you are serious: Give Manjaro a try. Based on Arch but installation is a breeze.

@mschomm @catsalad I wasn't but thanks anyway, I'll stick to the Arch installation that I had up and running in 20 minutes with the wonderful wiki. I love how when you make fun about Arch ("Hard to use", "Users so snobby") the users show up and are just genuinely nice and helpful.

My experience is that "Arch is hard to use" if you are the kind of person who doesn't read documentation.

But also I find that "Windows and even Ubuntu is hard to use" if you are the kind of person who reads documentation. 😅

@dragonfi One thing I found interesting about this: When I started Arch I was someone who didn't read documentation, and when I started doing it with Arch, I realized that this was the first doc I read because it was the first that was actually helpful, insightful, up to date, etc. Since then I blame people less when they don't read documentation, because they are kinda right: A lot of documentation out there is a waste of time.
