The problem is that by the time there is a trial, the person facing bogus charges has already had to spend a night or days in jail, deal with lost time at work or school, etc. We need juries to do something like return treason verdicts against ICE officers when they push bogus charges

You can’t charge federal officers in state courts for illegal things they do while working for the federal government. This would take the federal government choosing to prosecute its own officers.
