So, lately I've been experimenting with #homelab shenanigans. So far so good, but, I kinda realized that I need to group up some of these disparate domain names I've been collecting for my #webdev projects. I've been thinking of maybe just... grouping them under one domain name?
@ShadowKyogre Subdomains are likely cheaper than a lot of separate. Few friends had a habit of getting many new domains for their upcoming projects, only to realize that they didn't have time for all those projects. Constant running costs often reduce the energy to keep doing things, do it might be easier to start with more light setup for addresses.

@autiomaa - Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I just can't think of a good domain name concept that'd work for both personal projects and "Hey here's a profile of myself".

The only thing I can think of is something that screams, "Hey, I am a studio!"

...But that might also seem self-aggrandizing.

@ShadowKyogre I have been slowly increasing the amount of subdomains in the past decade, but those are much easier to manage than having to jump between different DNS setups for multiple domains. Both have their upsides, but it's much simpler for small projects to add a subdomain.
@autiomaa - Yeah, that's true. Maybe I just need to spend some time combing TLDs to see which one would fit for both of current domains I want to group into a new domain name.
