No, it’s just stupid. It’s just a cool-sounding idea (let’s have them turn into Vulkans) that they don’t know what to do with and turns out it’s stupid if you think about it too much. The SNW scripts are abysmal, it’s all young-adultish navel gazing and interpersonal drama. They do a two-part big Gorn saga to have a cliffhanger between the seasons, then resolve it with some nonsense and three explanatory sentences. Sure, tho, there’s time to watch everyone dance to “Wake me up before you go go”. They should have included some autist nerds who’d have to rubber stamp everything, because this is just shit. It’s uneven, but like 2 episodes out of every season are bearable.
