my phone sucks at loading animated images. this thing is only 5 years old and it barely handles MOVING IMAGESSSSSS
rwrv@swiftyshq by the time 2020 happened, 3gb ram on a phone already generally meant you're getting a pos which barely works
i have one from 2020 with 3gb ram and it crashed entirely looking at fairly simple web pages
@swiftyshq especially if it was samsung, since they decided that it'd be a great idea to make OneUI heavy enough that the poor old Galaxy A21S it was shoved onto would suffer with it (those phones work SO much better on custom software, though part of that might be helped by a custom kernel able to slightly overclock it)
Karbin@swiftyshq I once made a gif from an animation. I decided to get the frames and create the image with some console trickery and stuff. I think that shitfile still runs as crap on modern machines
