@whitequark I was quite proud of my GAS macro static assert that you used the correct register

@whitequark Some things just feel like "Relying on the fact that the PC has 64kb of RAM and will wrap adresses above that, and why would any of that ever change?!" Even if the specific instance of assuming-as-a-concept is fine, the whole genre makes my skin crawl.
