Polanski seems to be the only leader with a backbone. Says things which are self-evident to anyone who cares about the truth.

Since the times of the Controls on Immigration mug, Labour, Lib Dems and obviously the Conservatives have been more interested in courting the bigot vote than telling the truth when faced with lies.

That got us Brexit.

And they still won't change course.

The Greens shouldn't be on their own in opposing propaganda, but they are.

@davey_cakes @Nicovel0 @christineburns The Greens have an open goal here. As you say all they have to do is say self-evident things and they will be understood and believed. I live in what was Caroline Lucas' ward and she was such a terrific parliamentarian voting for her was clearly the right thing to do. Now I can also get behind the Green Party's policies under Polanski's energetic leadership. I hope this continues.

In England, they're nearly on their own.

Really it's heartening to see the left in England catching up with where Scottish politics has been for 10 years.

And I don't say that to be snide. It is a good thing in a political world very short on good things.

I hope the Greens get enough seats at the next election to make it impossible for any of the regressive parties to form a UK government. Change as a reality not a slogan.
