Just found this on FB. Very cool the WI Department of Transportation posts things like this:
"Today is White Cane Safety Day – a day to celebrate independence and mobility for people with vision loss.

➡️In Wisconsin, the White Cane Law states that drivers must stop 10 feet or more from pedestrians using white canes or service dogs. (1/2)

➡️The Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Act was signed in 2010. This statute is designed to ensure the protection of people with visual impairments when crossing streets to avoid pedestrian crashes.

DRIVERS: Do your part to keep our roads safe for everyone. Be attentive, watch for pedestrians and avoid distractions."
