PSA for anyone reading this: pee doesn't work. Use vinegar. There should be some at the lifeguard station if there are a lot of jellyfish in the area.

Vinegar can make bluebottle stings worse - hot water is the recommendation for bluebottles.
Vinegar is recommended for box and irunkandji jellyfish.

Step 1: If casualty was stung by a bluebottle, reassure them, "Good news, mate! It wasnna box or irukandji that got ya!" If they were stung by a box or irukandji, haul their body out of the water.

@lnlyisol @siderea @gbargoud @kims I think the assumption is that first responders use disposable gloves for handling the patient. And if stockings are supposed to be protection from stings, I would assume so are gloves 😅
