I haven’t played much dnd, do people expect stat blocks to be fixed? Like, is meta knowledge such a part of the game that its a dick move for gm to change it?
It is expected that the gm will tweak things here and there for whatever reason, its part of their job. Its considered a major faux pas to look at monster stat blocks as a player.
