How have you been doing with the API limits? Have you been staying under them? Are you hitting either or consistently getting close?

Dealing with the Toggl changes will continue to be a work in progress. I’ll still be trying to find what more I can do and if I’m missing or overlooking something that can be improved.

Thank you again for all your support. And happy time tracking!

@timery Hasn’t been a problem yet for me personally.
@philip Excellent. Thank you for letting me know. Hopefully things stay that way.
@timery I also haven’t had any issues with the limits and am not even getting close as far as I’m aware. The limits feel reasonable honestly, it sucks they surprised you with them but this feels very different from the reddit situation at least
@timery I’m a light user but as far as I can tell I haven’t ever come close to hitting the limits.
@timery I've been doing totally fine with the API limits until today. I think something might be going wrong because I hit the limits two times today, and during one of those times I was on a walk so as far as I was aware I wasn't making any API calls at all. Do you know if there's a way to audit the API calls, either from Toggl or from Timery? I'm curious if I instigated the behaviour somehow.

@timery it’s been unusable the last few days, I suspect that Toggl has started enforcing the API limits or something.

I’m on the free plan, but sometimes will pick up my phone with a timer that’s been running for over an hour and won’t be able to stop the timer because I have no API calls left, despite doing nothing in over an hour.

Maybe it’s time for you to build a back-end! Or support more than Toggl. I’m definitely going to consider my options - if I have to pay Toggl to use Timery I’ll be taking a look at what other paid services are out there for a similar price, or less.

@timery The API limits are hard. Toggl is great but it's not worth $100/yr to me. I'm looking for workarounds.
