Fall colors trip to the eastern Sierra this weekend with my daughter. Hit the perfect weekend getting the last snow free days before fall strips the leaves. June lake and the Lee Vining Canyon were beautiful. We were surprised by a 22F night in the canyon when forecasts put it at 40F. It tested my new quilt sleep system that I wouldn't have used below 30F. Cowboy camped. Wasn't comfortable, cold spots but wasn't deathly cold, survived.
