Danielle ForéI was thinking earlier about how fucked up the concept of “class mobility” is. Like the promise of capitalism is that if you work hard enough you can become one of the exploiters instead of one of the exploited. That’s real crabs in a bucket stuff right there.
Yuri Broze@danirabbit I dunno; I'm pretty sure the promise of capitalism is that if you work hard and smart enough, and produce goods and services for people, then when they exchange money for what you create, you can accrue wealth legitimately.
@ybroze there is no way to ethically “accrue wealth”. Hope that helps
