@palafo Our TiVo Roamio from 2017 is on its last legs. Its hard drive makes a disconcerting mechanical strain noise. So it's days are certainly numbered. But it has no match in today's hardware offerings.

I guess with everything moving to streaming, the broadcast model's days are numbered too.

When YouTube TV's stream of the 2022 World Cup final started pixelating and buffering badly, the local ABC feed via our TiVo was clutch. The picture was better too.

@palafo Sad! I grew up with TiVo. My sister-in-law literally wept in jealousy when I got the very first generation as soon as it came out. It was like magic, zooming past those commercials.
