The 'sudden grey hairs' hits home. I was in a barber shop about 30 years ago and demanded to know whose hair was on the smock the barber had draped over me before he began cutting my hair. It was grey hair and I assumed it was from a previous customer. Nope. His response was 'Yours'. I had turned completely grey and hadn't noticed it.

My mother asked me if I was going to dye my hair. I assume she was testing me to see if I was a vain fool. Also nope.
