@bit101 i remember seeing this in your foundation actionscript animation book for the first time, maybe in 2007 (i learned *so* many things from this book when i was studying! thanks for writing it!!)

@mariov thanks for mentioning it. Yeah, I'm very proud of that book. Sad that technology changes so fast. Almost all of those techniques are 100% valid still, but the book and language are obsolete now. The publisher did contract a JavaScript version, but even that is probably somewhat out of date by now.
