I'm never happy with the pictures of my miniatures. I always feel there is something off. My best bet, is that it has to be the lighting.

Everything I have checked on lighting, I see people using two lamps in the front, facing the miniature from a 45ยบ angle from the center. So I thought I would try.

I got two lamps through Amazon, so I am trying now to assess whether they are worth, or I should return them.

These are my trials. All of them with the same camera settings, directly on JPG (no post-process).

The distance from the light sources to the miniatures in all samples is 45-50 cm.

Which one do you think it is best? (see ALT)
