The collapse of First Brands (it’s not just you, few had heard of them) is *probably* not the pin that pops the current bubble, but it’s entertaining. Wall Street will reliably engage in lethal/suicidal business practices given the chance.

But that bubble-popping pin is incoming.

@timbray I can't help expecting that the pinprick will be applied (accidentally) by Pres. Trump. But he hasn't even blown up TSLA yet, which I was sure would happen once he and Mr. Musk started hanging out together...
@mpjgregoire Would *not* be surprising. But there are these weird deals too like where Msft “invests” $5B in an AI company but it's Azure credits and then Msft books that as revenue.
