How do I turn on the Do Not Track feature? | Firefox Help

This article describes the “Do Not Track” feature in Firefox 134 and below, that lets you tell websites not to track your browsing behavior.

following your link you get
'Starting in Firefox version 135, the “Do Not Track” setting has been removed.' as the first sentence. So the question remains: Is GPC (the current strategy of mozilla in Firefox) legally binding as well?

@gnumpen @echo_pbreyer I just wanted to cite what the state in firefox is like. I do not know about chrome and other browsers as I do not use them.

@momo @echo_pbreyer

I get that - I was merely pointing out that firefox actually does not support do-not-track anymore and moved on to use "Global Privacy Control (GPC)" instead. Thus it is not clear if the legally binding do-not-track extends to GPC as well.
If GPC is not legally binding like do-not-track then Firefox users won't benefit from this whole situation.

@gnumpen @echo_pbreyer I am sorry I do not know if GPC is legally binding as well. I posted my reply knowing what was written on that page.
