There’s an idea I’ve had in my mind for a while, and @0xKristof 's ‘Dark OSINT’ talk at #osco25 was the last push I needed to commit to it.

I’ve been thinking about building a training or workshop for kids aged 12-14, so around when they start getting a hold of a phone and having an online presence.

I want to educate them on security, privacy, understanding how social media works and giving them tools to master it, before it masters them.

I would love to hear opinions on what content you think should be there, what worked for you or your kids. Do you know any game or examples that can help learn about best practices to keep online? Any suggestions or stories are welcome🙏🏼

@m1r314 I like the idea! You would have to explain the ethics behind it also because young kids, when taught, they'll use it on each other and might find disturbing things.
@0xKristof My idea was not to teach them about OSINT! Just about privacy, what to post, and what to be careful about. It's true tho that it could backfire. Thanks for the heads up!
@m1r314 awesome! There is a card game called "Data Heist" that might be too advanced for 12 years, but it could inspire you!
