Thanks for sharing! I keep trying this approach and frequently fail. I adore iA Writer but the lack of folding + outline (both on Windows) hurts me. I'm also on mobile (iOS) a lot and the Taskpaper third party apps and hacks for mobile are too much friction.

But I may try again.

Editorial (https://omz-software.com/editorial/) is/was an amazing editor that's no longer in active development.

For iPhone I looked at https://runestone.app/ and thought about iA Writer for iOS, but decided mobile support wasn't that important to me.

I could see developing some scripts if I just wanted to add entries from my phone, but that doesn't seem worth it. I just jot things down and put it in through TaskPaper when I get the chance ;)
