Could we, without relentlessly criticising, let people have their pumpkin spice, avocado toast, fandoms, D&D, too-early Halloween decorations and whatever little harmless things in which they've managed to find a tiny, shriveled flower of joy?
@cmconseils totally happy with people enjoying spooky season!! Better than, as many have said, banging on about Christmas all year (as a November birthday and SAD-sufferer, it really genuinely hurts)
As long as people are mindful of wildlife and don't cover bushes in fake cobwebs, or buy endless plastic tat they then just throw away and start all over again the next year. This is worse in the US, I found.
Oh and don't ring doorbells if people aren't explicitly up for trick-or-treat, pleeeease
