At ridiculously short notice got asked if I could be in Stockholm, Sweden at 11am on Sunday 26 October

I am in Brugge, Belgium until 1pm on Saturday 25 October

Can I do the trip in 22 hours (well, 21 including the clocks going back)?

NO 😡

No night trains that night, so it renders it impossible...

@jon You’re talking departure on Oct 25 right? SJ EuroNight runs but it leaves earlier on Saturdays.

Seems like timetables somehow don’t match so well into Hamburg though, so you’d need to leave Brugge ~11am.

(Probably this is what’s making DB Navigator not show it..? Benefit of our journey planner being coded to always find night trains even with detours, if I may brag.)

@stefanlindbohm DB will not show it at all 🤔

Let me check if SJ will sell a ticket that night

@jon They do! I had to double check that we didn’t make that departure up :)

I think DB updates MERITS data relatively infrequently so maybe there was some recent change in the timetable that they don’t show yet 🤔

@bovine3dom LOL, yes. I am always on the lookout for weird timetable cases and will check anything I hear of with our own journey planner to learn what the problem is and if we can fix it :)

@jon

@jon @stefanlindbohm I took the SJ 13471 train (from Stockholm to Berlin) and it was never included in the DB data, even on the day it was running. According to SJ there's a night train that day so there will be one.
