For the first time ever in history, coal is no longer the top, its the expensive, its the foul, its the filthy, its the deadly energy source, not the top.

And, in xtra goodness, wind and solar are also now growing faster than demand for energy itself.

Its good news, even in the Trump collapse. Trumpism is cancer.

@kottke this is good news, but calling it a turning point is misleading. Net zero is the turning point. Until we reach that, the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere is still going up; global temperatures are still increasing. This milestone is only really halfway to net zero, and only in one industry.
