Then some individuals attended Gaza protests in the city wearing mock suicide vests. The Terrorist attack didn’t happen in isolation, it happened in this climate of hate where Jews in Manchester got targeted for the actions of the Israeli state. We all have to oppose antisemitism and hate.
Mick Taylor@JamesBaker of course we must oppose anti-semitism, but you don’t do that by uncritically supporting the Israeli state. And we also oppose Islamophobia, which is also widespread in the UK. Above all we want peace in the Middle East, peace and IDF withdrawal in Gaza and an end to settler encroachment in the West Bank. Security for Israel will only come with peace, not through further military action
@Mickft Hopefully some good can come of this latest peace deal. Agree people shouldn’t just uncritically support actions of any government!
