Just watched it. No idea, would be interesting to see if it leads to anything interesting, or if it’s just a weird Nintendo ad.

My theory is they’re further testing the waters about being an animation company. They’re working with Illumination on the Mario movies, but if they can do everything in-house and get people to like watching their stuff, they stand a lot to gain.
