in the future, everyone will be prime minister of France for 15 minutes.

@faduda

Who's in charge here.

_Noone_

What?

_You see, we take it in turns, as Prime Minister of the week_

Yes...

_But all the decision of that officer have to be ratified at a special biweekly meeting._

Yes, I see.

_By a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs,--_

Be quiet!

_--but by a two-thirds majority in the case of more--_

Be quiet! I order you to be quiet!

@faduda Except Jim Gavin, who withdraws from consideration after being named.
@faduda you do get a lifelong pension. Universal Basic income.
@faduda me having to do anything for France for 15 minutes
@faduda just one non-stop inauguration party, nIce...
@faduda
I saw someone suggest that we should do away with voting and instead people are picked for office like we do jury duty here in the US. It's sounding more and more like a decent idea.
@faduda Is this what the French call "tour de farce"?
@faduda "soon, everybody will know someone who has been prime minister of France" ~ based on a famous Sebastian Kirz quote
@faduda No, not everyone. Socialists will never be prime minister while Macron is president.
@Angelina @faduda There is an ancient legend that says Gabriel Attal and Élisabeth Borne once belonged to the Socialist Party; of course, this legend comes from a distant and mysterious past — no one has ever truly witnessed such miracles.
@faduda at least the salad will remain fresh. This is France after all.
