Hey #believeinfilm friends,

Today I'd like to share with you (again) a weird little camera: Mamiya U.

It has a notorious flaw that makes my copy one of the few that are fully intact. It has a strange but very interesting lens. And it sports an unusual design that reminds me of early '90s movies.

@analog_cafe There's a #MamiyaU sat right here on my desk, bought from new. The red shutter button did disintegrate, but we managed to get it replaced, now green. I recently put some batteries in it and ran a film through, preparing to send to a charity shop. Pretty soft in the corners!

@carusb It is! It's such a strange camera. It feels so dainty and dated at the same time to me, but it's also somehow well-made at the same time. Nice shot!
