The Dutch election is at the end of the month.

Something that the right wing of every country will drag out is the crime and murder rate. I just want to state that the murder rate in the Netherlands has been on the downward trend for the past 25 years. It has hovered around 120-130 for a few years now and this year looks to be on track for that.

We have
18,000,000 people living here. That's not a lot of people dying from homicide. Yes, there should be no murders at all, and I agree it's important to focus on decreasing that number to 0, but it's absolutely nothing to do with migrants.

Don't let the right wing trick you when you vote later this month. Migrants have nothing to do with the murder rate.

Also, so it's clear, Muslims also have nothing to do with the murder rate.

5-6% of the population practices Islam here. That number has increased over the years, but it hasn't resulted in higher crime rates of any kind.

Less Muslims would not impact the murder rate here.

Do not vote for the PVV. They only want to trick you into hating migrants and muslims because they want to distract from their desire to gut all social programs and sell everything they can to their rich buddies.
