Are there any #appliance specialists who can actually fix a #samsung #stove or are they so poorly designed that no fix is going to last?

@theteapixie

I eventually gave up and replaced ours after a distressingly short run (about 2 troublesome and disrupted years). Sorry to hear you’ve been hit by the #SamsungCurse

#SamsungIsCrap

@DavidM_yeg I am so sorry to read this. I am really shocked that this quality of appliance has been approved for sale in Canada. It is a landfill nightmare. I have seen so many terrible reviews.

We have samsung stove/dw/fridge. Replaced with ss when appliances died during Covid. 28 yo- in our place when we moved in. These are 4yo and on their last legs. HEAD SHAKE.

Am thinking we need to budget for bosch. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@DavidM_yeg the sad part? We’ve had the stove fixed twice, already.
@theteapixie @DavidM_yeg am thinking one has to almost go for commercial machines ... everything is made so cheap for too much money ...

@theteapixie They should have stuck with computer monitors is my thinking ....

Other issue that has shown its ugly head is the disposable society we have become and where they want everyone to only do more expensive purchases... whether it is ANY appliance now for a few years as have noticed ...
I told landlord I would keep old Moffat stove because it has a back top that is flat so my spices can be kept in reach to use as long as nothing major goes wrong ... NO other stove has a flat topped back and only thing wrong is door bar fell off but still can be opened and closed and all else works fine ...even if stove is 40 yrs old with a couple of chips and no door bar ...

My own Moffat microwave is from 1965 and only thing wrong is inside light went out and am 3-4th owner now for 30 yrs ..

Fridge had been replaced; found that the seals are so poor on newer freezer part one have to use duck tape to secure door from popping open when fridge is closed below..one day as brushing past handle came off
