One of my pet peeves is word repetition. There's a YouTuber who intros his videos with "Hi I'm Dave. I am David SomethingOrOther and I ..." and it irks me every time. Why can't he be more efficient?

Then again, his whole channel is built on that he worked for one large company and he always just shows his face in the camera and reads from the prompter. No graphs, no animations, no illustrations. So the urge to switch away is big, sometimes at the intro already.
